In my foregone articles, I wrote on how to use Airtel BIS on PC, how to use Glo BIS on PC, ipad and android.
After sometimes the Glo BIS
stopped working. Not long that the GLO BIS stopped, I started receiving
messages on facebook, twitter, yahoo and sometimes call, asking how they could
surf the internet on PC with MTN BIS without the
use of VPN.
Today, it’s my pleasure to inform you that you can now
browse on PC and mobile phone using MTN BIS.
How to Get
Started
1. Firstly, subscribe to any MTN BIS
2. To subscribe, text
BBC to 21600 (cost N1,200) for
monthly plan, or BBCWEEK to 21600 (cost N500) for weekly plan
3. After you have successfully subscribed for any BIS plan,
configure your modem settings
4. To configure, click on “Tools” and then “Options”
5. Click on “Profile
Management”, click on “New”
6. Input the following in the provided field:
Profile Name: MTN BIS
Tick on Static
APN: Blackberry.Net
Leave others and click on “Save”
7. Click on “SET AS
DEFAULT”
8. Click on “OK”
and “Connect”
That’s all.
