Despite the fact that Microsoft and apple are great
competitors in the mobile space, still yet they still do business together.
Recently, Microsoft announced its new office mobile for
iPhone and iPod on iOS. Now fans of Microsoft
excel and word can enjoy MS
office on their iOS device just as long as you have an office 365 subscription.
You can now view or edit spreadsheets, docs and PowerPoint files store on Microsoft’s cloud services, or pinned to emails all from
the convenience of your iPhone or iPod (no iPad version yet). Offline editing
is also feasible as long as you’ve recently viewed or edited the file.
This app does require that you have an iPhone or iPod
running iOS 6.1 and app is only available in US for now.
What’s your say about this move taken by Microsoft? Feel
free to share your views.
