If your smartphone is running Android 4.0 and above, then you're eligible to get the new look of Android L keyboard without waiting for its official release this year.
Last month, Google revealed Android L and also unveiled a new keyboard. The keyboard have no line to seperate the softkeys from each other and carries over the core color theme from the new Material Design.
Developers didn't take long before anylizing the system images of Android L and extracts some of the core apps, then redesign them for latest Android devices.
The android L keyboard was developed by Shen Ye and can currently be found in the Google Play store for free.
Your device must be running android 4.0 and above in order for the keyboard to work perfectly on your smartphone. The keyboard functions just as it will, when Android L is release later this year.
As soon as you install the app, follow the instruction on screen to set it as your default keyboard.
